§ 14-10. Insurance and bonds.

(a)

Prior to construction of subdivision and project improvements, the contractor shall procure and maintain during the life of any contract or agreement for such construction insurance protecting the village from any claim for damages, real, personal or otherwise, in such amounts and form as established by resolution of the village council.

(b)

Prior to the acceptance of improvements by the village, a one-year maintenance bond in an amount set by and acceptable to the village council shall be posted by the proprietor.
