§ 22-166. Controlled substances.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly loiter in any place within the village where marijuana or paraphernalia used or adapted for use with marijuana are used, sold, dispensed, furnished, given away, or stored, or otherwise illegally kept.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to be in a public place whose ability to walk, talk, or see is significantly impaired by the use of any controlled substance, as defined by article 7 of Public Act No. 368 of 1978 (MCL 333.7101 et seq.); provided, however, that this subsection shall not be construed to apply to a person whose faculties have been impaired by medication prescribed by a physician and taken as directed.
